Double Glazing Advice - Energy Ratings & Savings

Why are Energy Rated Windows so important?

You will probably already know that the amount of energy we waste in our homes is directly linked to climate change.  You will also know that the cost of heating your home is dramatically increasing and energy efficient windows can not only help with keeping that cost down but also reduce the overall carbon footprint.

How are Energy Efficient Windows different?

The standard double glazed units are not designed to allow for heat loss in the same way that energy efficient double glazed units are.  Energy efficient windows rely on two things - the frame and the double glazed unit.  There are 7 different energy efficient window ratings - these are A-G.  'A' been the most energy efficient window on the market with massive savings to you over the years by reserving the energy and helping with the carbon footprint.
